Brett Raynor’s path to physical therapy began with a personal setback—an ACL tear that introduced him to the rehab process and sparked a lasting interest in the field. Having played sports his entire life, including Division I football at Merrimack College, Brett developed a strong foundation in strength and conditioning. That experience has continued to shape his clinical approach, giving him a unique perspective when working with athletes and active individuals.
Brett earned his undergraduate degree from Merrimack College, where he competed as a Division I football player. He went on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
During his clinical education, Brett had the opportunity to intern with the athletic programs at both the University of Maryland College Park and UMBC. These experiences allowed him to work closely with elite-level athletes across various sports, expanding his knowledge in sports performance and high-level rehabilitation.
Brett has a particular passion for treating knee injuries, especially ACL rehabilitation. His own experience with knee surgery and recovery, combined with his background in football and weight training, makes him especially attuned to the needs of athletes going through similar challenges.
Brett finds fulfillment in helping people regain their strength, mobility, and confidence after injury. His goal is to provide high-quality, athlete-informed care that empowers each patient to return to doing what they love - stronger and more resilient than before.
