Dr. Caitlynn Mossman

PT, DPT

Caitlynn Mossman's passion for physical therapy grew from a lifelong love of sport and movement. Growing up, she competed in soccer, basketball, and lacrosse — ultimately playing Division I lacrosse at Boston College, where she was a member of the 2021 National Championship team. Through her own athletic career, she developed a deep appreciation for what it takes to compete at the highest level and discovered a desire to help others get back to doing what they love at their strongest and best ability.

Caitlynn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston College in 2022 and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree at the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2026.

During her clinical training, Caitlynn gained extensive experience in sports rehabilitation working with student-athletes at both the University of Maryland, College Park and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Treating collegiate athletes across a variety of sports strengthened her expertise in injury management, performance optimization, and return-to-play progression. She is also actively engaged in research, having co-authored a poster investigating shoulder pain in Division I collegiate swimmers, to be presented at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting in 2027.

With her extensive lacrosse background, Caitlynn is especially passionate about treating lacrosse athletes and has a strong interest in ACL recovery and return-to-sport rehabilitation. She also enjoys working with soccer players. Her firsthand experience as a championship-level athlete allows her to connect with patients on a personal level and deliver care that is both performance-driven and grounded in the realities of competitive sport.
