Dr. Hailey Prestash

PT, DPT

Hailey Prestash’s journey into physical therapy was shaped by her own experiences as a multi-sport athlete recovering from injury. Competing in track and field, basketball, softball, soccer, and cross country, she faced several season-ending injuries that required extensive rehabilitation. These challenges gave her a firsthand understanding of the physical and emotional toll injuries take on athletes - and the powerful role physical therapists play in helping patients heal and return to what they love. Inspired by the care she received and the connection she felt with her therapists, Hailey knew she wanted to help others navigate similar journeys.

Hailey earned both her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Saint Francis University. While balancing academics and athletics, she developed a strong interest in injury prevention and performance training. She completed a strength and conditioning internship that included work with Division I football, sprints and jumps, women’s lacrosse, and women’s soccer—an experience that gave her valuable insights into athletic development, recovery, and performance demands.

During her final clinical rotation, Hailey trained with True Sports Physical Therapy, working closely with high school and collegiate athletes across the full continuum of care. From immediate post-operative rehabilitation to advanced return-to-sport protocols, she gained hands-on experience in helping athletes of all levels rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence.

Hailey enjoys working with a wide range of athletes and brings empathy and insight to every case. As a former athlete herself, she understands the emotional side of recovery and uses that connection to support her patients both physically and mentally. She has a particular interest in ACL rehabilitation and knee injuries, which she has worked with extensively in her clinical training.

Hailey is committed to continuous professional development. She is currently certified as an ACSM Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP) and is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Her future goals include earning certifications in dry needling, completing advanced coursework in ACL rehabilitation, obtaining her CSCS credential, and ultimately pursuing board certification as a Sports Certified Specialist (SCS).

Hailey Prestash is passionate about guiding athletes through every stage of their recovery and helping them return to sport stronger, more resilient, and better prepared for long-term success.
