JT Murphy

PT, DPT

JT Murphy's path to physical therapy began with a career-ending concussion sustained while playing baseball. Going through that experience gave him a firsthand understanding of how helpless an athlete can feel when they're unable to participate in the sport they love — and it motivated him to pursue a career where he could help other athletes recover, regain confidence, and get back to doing what matters most to them.

JT earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Marymount University. He is committed to continued professional development and plans to pursue certifications in dry needling and the Fascial Distortion Model (FDM) to further expand his clinical skill set and enhance the care he provides.

Throughout his clinical training, JT had the opportunity to work with a wide range of athletes and sports-related injuries. His own background as a competitive athlete has been especially valuable in understanding both the physical and mental demands of the recovery process, and he has developed a passion for guiding athletes through rehabilitation — helping them rebuild confidence and progress toward a full return to activity.

JT's primary focus is sports physical therapy, with a particular interest in baseball and basketball. Having grown up playing both sports, he brings a personal understanding of their unique demands and takes pride in helping athletes at all levels recover from injury and return to the sports they love.
