Madison decided to pursue a career in physical therapy after her first exposure to PT in middle school while rehabbing a softball injury. That early experience sparked a lasting interest in the profession, combining her desire to help others with a strong fascination for the human body, exercise, and sports. She values building meaningful connections with her patients, listening to their stories, and guiding them toward happier, healthier versions of themselves.
Madison earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science from James Madison University in the spring of 2021. She went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy with high honors from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, TX, graduating in December 2025. During her doctoral training, she was awarded the prestigious Paris/Patla Award for Excellence in Manual Therapy, an honor given to one student in the graduating class.
Throughout her education, Madison completed over 30 weeks of clinical experience as a student physical therapist, primarily in outpatient orthopedic settings. She worked extensively with high school athletes rehabbing a variety of injuries and gained specialized experience at a spine and scoliosis clinic, developing a strong foundation in treating spinal conditions. As a new graduate, she brings current, evidence-based research into her clinical practice to ensure patients receive the highest quality of care.
Madison has a strong passion for treating a wide range of sports-related injuries. Having grown up playing softball, basketball, and volleyball, she brings firsthand understanding of these sports, while her enthusiasm as an avid sports fan allows her to confidently work with athletes of all backgrounds and levels.
