Marcus Joseph

PT, DPT

Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Marcus Joseph developed a passion for rehabilitation and performance through his lifelong involvement in athletics, particularly men’s ice hockey. Experiencing injuries firsthand and watching teammates navigate the rehabilitation process inspired Marcus to pursue a career in physical therapy, with the goal of helping athletes safely return to the sports they are most passionate about.

Marcus earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from Sacred Heart University, where he also competed as a Division I men’s ice hockey player. He went on to graduate from Northeastern University with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Throughout his education and clinical experiences, Marcus has had the opportunity to learn from NHL and AHL strength and conditioning professionals, gaining valuable insight into the rehabilitation and performance demands of high-level athletes during both in-season and off-season training.

Marcus’ clinical interests include working with athletes and treating lower body injuries, with a particular focus on conditions involving the hip, groin, knee, and ankle. Drawing from both his athletic and clinical background, he emphasizes individualized rehabilitation programs designed to help patients return to sport confidently and perform at their highest level.
