Dr. Ben Arcona

PT, DPT, CSCS

Ben Arcona’s passion for physical therapy is grounded in a lifelong commitment to athletics. Growing up playing multiple sports and later focusing on lacrosse, Ben developed an appreciation for performance, recovery, and goal-oriented training. Over time, his personal interests expanded into CrossFit, general bodybuilding, and running. This drive to train with purpose - and his enjoyment in helping others do the same - led him to a career in physical therapy, where he could support individuals in returning to the activities they love.

Ben earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware, one of the top physical therapy programs in the country. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), which adds performance-focused depth to his clinical approach.

During his clinical education, Ben completed a standout rotation at the University of Notre Dame, where he worked with a wide range of athletic teams, including a primary focus on the men’s lacrosse and women’s soccer programs. This experience deepened his understanding of sport-specific rehabilitation at the collegiate level and reinforced his passion for working with competitive athletes.

Ben specializes in treating lacrosse players, field sport athletes, weightlifters, and runners. His own experience in these communities allows him to design customized rehabilitation programs that align with the physical demands and goals of each patient. Whether he's helping someone return to the field or to their favorite fitness routine, Ben is committed to delivering high-quality care that supports both recovery and long-term performance.

He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy (AASPT), and he continues to engage with the latest research and best practices in sports rehabilitation and strength and conditioning.

Ben Arcona’s personal drive and clinical experience combine to create an athlete-centered approach rooted in movement, resilience, and performance. His goal is to help every patient not just return to sport, but return stronger.
