The rehabilitation process she underwent for these injuries not only provided her with firsthand insight into the impact and effectiveness of physical therapy but also sparked her interest in pursuing a career in this field. This personal connection to sports injuries has been a key driver in her professional path.

Sara completed her academic pursuits at Lebanon Valley College, where she earned both her Bachelor's in Exercise Science and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Her time playing college basketball significantly contributed to her growing interest in strength training and injury prevention programs. This background in competitive sports has given her a unique perspective on athlete-specific needs and challenges, particularly in the area of injury prevention and rehabilitation.

During her studies, Sara completed her final clinical rotation with True Sports, providing her with valuable hands-on experience in a practical setting. Since then, she has worked with a variety of collegiate athletes, addressing various sports-related injuries and conditions. This experience has allowed her to apply her academic knowledge to real-world situations, enhancing her skills as a physical therapist.

Since joining True Sports in January of 2023, Sara has developed a particular interest in treating ligament tears and knee injuries. This specialization is influenced by her personal history with similar injuries, allowing her to empathize with her patients and understand the intricacies of their rehabilitation process.

As an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Sara is committed to continuous learning and professional development. She regularly attends strength and conditioning conferences to stay updated with new information and studies, ensuring that she provides the best possible care to her patients based on current evidence-based practices.
